Cookie policy
Effective 1 September 2026
The short version
Nothing that tracks you loads until you say yes. When you first open the page you get three equal choices: accept everything, reject everything, or choose. Nothing is pre-ticked, and you can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
Strictly necessary
We do not set any tracking cookie in this category. Your choice from the banner is saved in your browser's local storage under the name flitt-consent-v1, so we do not have to ask again on every visit. It contains only your choice and the date, stays on your device, and is never sent to us.
Our host also uses technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. This is necessary for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
Analytics — only with your consent
Google Analytics 4, used to see which sections of the page are read and where people stop.
| Name | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Keeps the session state for the property | 2 years |
Data is processed by Google in the United States. Analytics data is retained for at most 14 months.
Marketing — only with your consent
The LinkedIn Insight Tag, used to see which of our LinkedIn campaigns bring visitors here.
| Name | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| bcookie | LinkedIn browser identifier | 1 year |
| li_sugr | Probabilistic browser matching | 90 days |
| UserMatchHistory | Synchronises the LinkedIn advertising ID | 30 days |
| AnalyticsSyncHistory | Records when synchronisation happened | 30 days |
| lidc | Selects the LinkedIn data centre | 1 day |
Data is processed by LinkedIn in the United States. We do not upload email addresses to LinkedIn and we do not build custom or lookalike audiences.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time. Switching a category off stops anything further from loading. Cookies already placed can be removed in your browser settings, where you can also block cookies generally, though some sites may then not work as intended.
Things that load before you choose
Two things are requested as the page opens, because it cannot be shown without them: the typefaces come from Google, and some photographs and the video come from Reclimb's servers. Neither sets a tracking cookie, but both mean the provider's server sees your IP address. This is explained in the privacy notice.
More
How we handle personal data more broadly is set out in our privacy notice. Questions to info@flitt.eu.
